BUKITTINGGI — Bukittinggi Police have successfully uncovered 19 cases of crystal methamphetamine and 2 cases of dried marijuana leaves.
The confiscated evidence weighed 2,549 grams of marijuana leaves, 10 ecstasy pills and 240 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
In this drug case, 21 perpetrators were arrested, three of whom were women and 18 were men, said Bukittinggi Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Yessi Kurniati.
He conveyed this during an expose on the disclosure of criminals during January to February 2025 in the jurisdiction of the Bukittinggi Police at the Police Headquarters on Jl Sudirman, Bukittinggi, Tuesday.
By securing a number of these criminals, it indicates that the Bukittinggi Police do not give room for any criminal acts to occur in the city of Bukittinggi.
Senior Commissioner Yessi, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Police, Head of Narcotics, Head of Criminal Investigation and Public Relations and the ranks of the Police, said that the hard work of the members had been able to uncover several prominent cases.
Meanwhile, in other cases, Yesse explained that there were 3 cases of indecent assault with 3 different suspects.
Other cases, 1 case of motorized theft, 2 serious assaults, 1 case of aggravated theft resulting in death, 1 case of gas, 1 case of fraud and domestic violence, 1 case of online gambling, 17 cases of thuggery and selling liquor. (ask)
